An interview with John Agoha

John Agoha is a song writer and singer who switched from being a circular music artist to a gospel artist.

WHAT  KIND OF MUSIC WERE YOU INTO BEFORE?

I was into circular music before God told me to change to gospel music.

WHY DID YOU PREFER GOING TO CIRCULAR MUSIC WHEN YOU STARTED?

I preferred circular music because when I started with it, I was making a lot of money from it and I am one of those that mostly do go for shows in the industry

HOW LONG DID YOU SING THE CIRCULAR MUSIC?

I was into circular music for ten(10) years and I was one of the famous singers in the label.

WHY DID YOU SWITCH TO GOSPEL MUSIC?

As I said earlier, it was the will of God for me and I have to follow His will because I know he has good plans for me

FOR HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN INTO GOSPEL MUSIC?

I have been into gospel music for one year and six months. So in the next six months, it will be two years.

HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN SINGING GOSPEL SONGS?

I feel fulfilled because I know I am passing the message which God asked me to pass and I have prepared to live according to what I sing

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL?

Actually, only God is my role model but I have people who I look up to. They are;

• Chioma Jesus
• Nathaniel Bassey
• Tasha  Cobbs.

HOW MANY GOSPEL  ALBUMS DO YOU HAVE NOW?

I don’t have any album yet but I have singles. I am planning to release my album in August which is actually my birth month

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM IN TWO YEARS TIME?

In two years time, by the grace of God, I am going to take the gospel to the next level in the music industries. Though it might not be easy but I know that God is taking me somewhere
